  • The transition to adulthood can be challenging for many individuals as they must assume new roles and responsibilities, develop a sense of autonomy, and learn to foster long-term relationships. All these new expectations often cause young adults to feel pressure, which in turn may result in the presentation of some anxiety or other emotional based difficulties. Therapy can assist young adults in navigating these unknown waters by providing coping strategies and fostering the development of skills that will help the young adult achieve their desired level of autonomy and independence.
